Beauty is one of the most misconstrued concepts in the world. Some define it according to one’s color, social class, frame, etc. However, the true definition of beauty transcends physical and ephemeral things. It goes beyond the shape of your face, the color of your skin, or the size of your bank account. A beautiful woman knows how to nourish her spirit, soul, and body. Proverbs 31: 30 says, “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
We encourage you to be intentional about taking care of your body at Anointed Touch Health Fitness, but we love to remind you never to ignore the health and wellbeing of your inner self in the process. Remember Apostle Peter advised thus; “Your beauty should not come from outward adornments, such as elaborate hairstyles and wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves” (1 Peter 3: 3-5 NIV).
You are wonderfully and fearfully made. You are responsible for your physical and spiritual health. Be deliberate not only in feeding your body but also in nurturing your soul. Seek growth in your capacities, submit to discipleship or mentorship drillings that would beat out the ugliness in your inner self. You are fashioned as an expression of love, kindness, and righteousness. If you leave your inner self untaken care of, it would rot with a festering stench and can stand in your way of fulfilling destiny. This month must be a decisive month where you begin to take your inner beauty seriously.
With much love
